Hi! My name is Áine (pronounced Onya), it’s Irish, I’m Irish! I am so excited to be your teacher! 🎸 I love music & I love to blend some Irish language and culture into lessons for those of you who have Irish roots or just a love for Ireland.☘️🇮🇪🗽
I specialize in teaching kids because I absolutely love the energy, imagination, and curiosity they bring to every lesson. Children learn best when they are having fun, feeling encouraged, and exploring in a safe, positive environment.
Whether your child is picking up a guitar 🎸 for the very first time or already knows a few chords, I meet each student where they are.
In my lessons, we explore a variety of music styles~ from fun children’s songs and pop hits to simple riffs and melodies.
As part of your lessons, you can choose to explore a little extra Irish culture! We’ll learn some basic Irish (Gaeilge) conversation, discover traditional Irish music, explore Irish food, art, geography, and more.The cultural element is completely optional!
