Brain Functions: Protection Your brain never fully remembers everything. The brain will make up information of a story that you don't remember to make it make sense. Trauma Brain Response: Remember everyone's trauma is different. Your brain will protect you from trauma that's happened. It can look unhealthy, healthy or toxic. Memory: People remember emotions not logic. You might forget what someone said. But you'll always remember how they made you feel.
