As I unpack the boxes from my recently departed classroom, I am having an emotional breakdown. When I reached the files and notes that chronicle many of my unfortunate moments working for my previous school district, I stumbled upon a voice note from last school year that contained a conversation between my Sister and I; she is the encourager 💯 I was reminded of how often I had to be encouraged just to go to work. In recalling this experience, I left out the part where once I spoke to him and asked him to leave the door, his response to me was, I heard you the first time bald headed hoe; he then proceeded to walk into his actual classroom, which was next-door; against my better judgment, I went into that classroom and responded “If I’m a bald headed hoe, your mama’s a baldheaded hoe.
