If you’re brand new to growing mushrooms, here’s the simplest way to start without getting overwhelmed:
- Pick ONE species. Oyster mushrooms are the easiest and most forgiving.
- Start with a kit or pre-made block. Don’t jump straight into agar, grain, or lab work.
- Focus on humidity and fresh air. These matter more than temperature for beginners.
- Expect mistakes. Everyone screws up early; that’s a part of the process.
