What if success didn't require you to sacrifice the two things God gave you to protect
Here is the lie we have all been told in some form: You can have a great marriage, or you can build a great business. You can walk fully in your calling, or you can be fully present in your home. You can pursue wealth, or you can prioritize faith. Pick one. Balance the rest. I want to challenge that today with everything in me. Because I have sat across from women who are more successful by every external measure than they have ever been, and they are the loneliest they have ever been. Their businesses are scaling. Their marriages are suffering. Their faith is becoming a logo rather than a lifeline. And I have sat across from women who have beautiful, deeply intimate marriages but have buried a gift so profound it would change lives if they ever released it. They chose the marriage. And they resent themselves quietly for what they never built. Neither of these is what God designed. Proverbs 11:14 says, in the multitude of counselors there is safety. You were not designed to figure this out alone. You were designed for a room. A room where faith, marriage and entrepreneurship are not competing categories but integrated pillars of one Kingdom assignment. That room did not exist. So I built it. This Summit Is Not for Everyone And That Is Intentional
I had a conversation recently with a woman who had been following my work for two years. She sent me a message that said: Rasheedah, every time I see what you are building, I know it is for me, but I talk myself out of showing up because I am not sure I belong. I read that message three times. And I thought: that is the exact woman I need to talk to today. Because there is something about high-achieving women that I have observed over decades of coaching and speaking. We wait for permission. We look for evidence that we belong before we walk through the door. We disqualify ourselves from rooms that were built for us. So today I want to be very specific about who this summit is for. And I want to say it clearly enough that the woman who needs to stop waiting finally stops. WHO THIS IS FOR: This summit was built for the Christian woman entrepreneur who is done letting her business compete with her covenant. More specifically, she is a wife. She is building something. It might be a coaching practice, a consulting firm, a ministry, a book, an agency, a course, a real estate portfolio. It does not matter the category. What matters is that God gave her a gift and she is in the process of releasing it into the world. She takes her faith seriously. Not performatively. Seriously. She opens her Bible. She prays about her pricing. She asks God about her partnerships. She wants her business to be a Kingdom assignment, not just a revenue stream. She loves her husband. And she has felt the tension between growing her business and nurturing her marriage. Maybe she has not had the language for it. Maybe she has blamed herself for not being able to do both seamlessly. But the tension is real and it is costing something. She is ambitious and she is not ashamed of it. She is building for legacy, not just income. She wants to leave something that outlasts her.
