A few weeks ago I was talking about humic acid and my wife (who is amongst other things a bio chemist) says, "there's no such thing". So wanting to prove her wrong I did some research ,and you can buy humic acid , it's made from coal by-products, also in a living soil it's what bonds crumb together. But in fact in chemistry there's no such acid. It's a made up name for something we don't really understand, it can sort of be replicated artificially, but it's not quite the same as occurs in nature because it's very complex and created from multiple interactions.
The more we search for the truth, the more urban myths and misleading information appears.
