Welcome to Ground State Meditation
You made it! This is a community where we break through the many misconceptions of meditation practice, get to know how our minds work and explore the freedom of being present in our lives. We utilise tools for training our attention, focus and peace of mind. Whether you're a seasoned meditator or starting from scratch, this is a safe place to explore meditation that can be applied to everyday life. All you need to start is open minded curiousity and some patience. We draw on ancient practice and modern science - not because we ask you to blindly believe in either, but because both point to the same thing...the mind can be trained and direct experience is the proof. Take back control. Here's what to expect: • Guided sessions designed to be straightforward and effective. Just technique that's backed by what the research says about attention, the nervous system and the brain. • Honest conversation about what works and what doesn't. This is a community that prioritises the members. Your experience is what matters. • Content that goes deeper over time - into focus, stress, sleep, creativity and the growing body of science around all of it. If you've tried meditation before and it didn't stick or you've been curious but the woo woo stuff left a bad taste in your mouth, this is a new approach that's grounded in reality.
