Language Before Healing
Healing often begins before the pain disappears—it begins when we finally develop the language to describe what we are carrying. Once we enlarge our emotional vocabulary, we can acknowledge our pain, articulate our experiences, understand their impact, and begin processing what they have meant. This is why language is not merely part of healing; it can become the doorway into it. Without the right words, people may mistake their pain for weakness, failure, or brokenness. But when we can name what we are experiencing, we can begin responding to ourselves with greater clarity, compassion, and intention. People rarely heal what they cannot name—come, join the conversation.
