WELCOME TO KNOWN BY GOD
I’m happy you’re here. By joining this community, you’ve stepped into a space created for women who want more than information about God. You want to know Him — to understand His Word, recognize His truth, grow in relationship with Him, and learn how to walk with Him in the ordinary and difficult places of your life. Known By God is a Christ-centered discipleship community grounded in Scripture. This is a place where we will learn together how to move beyond simply reading the Bible to allowing the Word of God to shape the way we think, believe, make decisions, respond to life, and live. Because knowing what Scripture says is important. But eventually, we have to ask: What does this reveal about God? What does it reveal about what I believe? Is there something I need to release? What truth do I need to build my life on instead? And how should I respond to God because of what I now know? That is where discipleship becomes formation. Inside Known By God, we’ll use Scripture, prayer, Bible study, reflection, conversation, questions, and practical application to help you grow in your relationship with God. We will talk about the questions that show up in real life: ❓️How do I know when God is speaking to me? ❓️How do I understand what I’m reading in Scripture? ❓️Is this God, fear, pressure, desire — or me? ❓️What does God say about who I am? ❓️How do I make wise decisions when I don't know what to do? ❓️What does obedience look like here? And sometimes the question will simply be: ❓️God, what are You trying to show me? You don’t have to arrive here knowing all the answers. This community exists because it is possible to know a lot about God and still hunger to know Him more deeply. And God has not left us to invent who He is. He has revealed Himself through His Word, through Jesus Christ, and through the work of the Holy Spirit. So we are going to Scripture. 🔥We are going to pray. 🔥We are going to ask questions. 🔥We are going to listen. 🔥We are going to examine what we believe.

Why Do I Keep Trying to Do This in My Own Strength?
Scripture: Isaiah 55:8-9 (MSG) — "'I don't think the way you think. The way you work isn't the way I work.' God's Decree. 'For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think.'" What it means: When life feels overwhelming, the instinct is to grip harder and push through alone. But God's way of working operates on a completely different level than yours — and He's inviting you into it, not asking you to outperform it. What truth this reveals about God: God's timing isn't slow because He's inefficient — it's different because His thoughts and His ways are simply higher than yours. His word never returns empty; it finishes what it was sent to do. Lie to release: If I don't push through in my own strength, nothing is going to get done. New belief to adopt: Time is a gift God gives me — and His strength is made perfect in my weakness, not my hustle. Faithful response: Identify one place you've been white-knuckling instead of leaning on God, and hand it back to Him today — literally say the words, out loud, in prayer. Application question: Where have you been working in your strength only, instead of casting that care on Him? Prayer: Lord, Your ways are higher than mine, and Your timing is not late. Help me lean on You instead of pushing through alone. Amen.

Do I See My Life the Way God Sees it?
Scripture: Ephesians 1:18 (NIV) — "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people." What it means: There's a difference between what your natural eyes see and what your heart can see when God opens it. Wisdom isn't just information — it's a kind of sight. What truth this reveals about God: God isn't withholding understanding from you. He wants your eyes opened — to hope, to your calling, to what you actually have in Him. Lie to release: If I follow God, obedience is the hard part and victory is uncertain. New belief to adopt: When I follow God's wisdom and obey, victory isn't the exception — it's the pattern. Faithful response: Ask God specifically to open the eyes of your heart to one area where you've been walking blind — a relationship, a decision, a calling. Application question: Where have you been relying on your natural sight instead of asking God to open the eyes of your heart? Prayer: Lord, open the eyes of my heart. Let me see what You see — the hope, the inheritance, the victory that's already mine in You. Amen.

Why Do I Freeze Instead of Asking God for Wisdom?
Scripture: James 1:5 (NIV) — "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." What it means: Not knowing what to do isn't a disqualifier — it's an invitation. God doesn't expect you to already have the answer; He expects you to ask Him for it. What truth this reveals about God: God gives wisdom generously and without shaming you for needing it. He's not annoyed by your uncertainty — He's ready with an answer. Lie to release: If I don't already know what to do, I'm not spiritual enough or smart enough to move forward. New belief to adopt: I don't have to have it figured out — I have to ask, and believe He'll answer. Faithful response: Bring your actual undecided decision to God in prayer today — specifically, not vaguely — and ask, believing, instead of staying stuck. Application question: What decision have you been avoiding simply because you haven't asked God for wisdom about it? Prayer: Lord, I don't want to stay paralyzed by what I don't know. Give me the wisdom You promised, and give me the faith to believe You'll answer. Amen.

Am I Running My Race, or Comparing It to Someone Else's?
Scripture: Hebrews 12:1-2 — "Let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith." What it means: God set a specific race before you — not the one someone else is running. Comparing your pace, your timeline, or your path to hers will only slow you down. What truth this reveals about God: God isn't a distant starting-gun official. He's the one who equips you to finish — the founder and perfecter of the very faith you're running on. Lie to release: I'm behind because my race doesn't look like everyone else's. New belief to adopt: God set my race before me — my job is endurance, not comparison. Faithful response: Identify one weight — a comparison, a distraction, a sin pattern — that's slowing you down, and lay it aside today. Application question: What race have you been trying to run that God never actually set before you? Prayer: Jesus, You're the one who started this race in me, and You're the one who'll finish it. Help me keep my eyes on You, not on everyone else's lane. Amen.
