Welcome to The Reading Room 📖
Hello, beautiful people! 💜 Welcome to The Reading Room—a Christ-centered community within Grace & Grit by PSI where women can grow through Scripture, books, prayer, journaling, and honest conversation. Our community follows a simple three-part rhythm: 📖 READ Spend meaningful time in Scripture and carefully selected books that strengthen your faith. ✍️ REFLECT Slow down, journal, ask questions, and consider what God is revealing in your present season. 🙏 REALIGN Respond through prayer and practical action as you bring your life back into alignment with God’s purpose. HOW TO BEGIN: 1. Introduce yourself in The Reading Room. 2. Share what you are currently reading or studying. 3. Tell us one area in which you are seeking renewal or realignment. Please treat every person’s story and prayer request with kindness, dignity, and confidentiality. This community supports your spiritual growth, but it does not replace connection to a healthy, Bible-believing local church. You are welcome here—not because you have everything figured out, but because you are willing to keep walking with God. Where Faith Meets Purpose and Pain Becomes Power. With grace and grit, Denise Colón, M.P.A. Founder, Grace & Grit by PSI

Tuesday Devotional
During my devotional today, I was reminded of the authority of Jesus and His faithfulness through every struggle. 💜 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” —Ephesians 6:10, KJV When John saw the risen Lord, he fell at His feet. Jesus reached out and reassured him, “Fear not” (Revelation 1:17). That encounter reminds me of both His power and His tenderness. Today, I’m choosing to place my confidence in Jesus and trust in His authority, because through every struggle, He has been faithful. Let’s take a moment to read, reflect, and realign. 📖 READ Read Ephesians 6:10–18. Notice what Paul tells believers to rely on and how he connects strength with God’s armor and prayer. ✍️ REFLECT What does this passage teach about where our strength comes from? Where in your life do you need to rely on that strength today? 🙏 REALIGN Bring that area to God in prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand His Word and take a faithful next step. Make room for your personal time with Him. You do not need to share your private struggles or compare your experience with anyone else’s. If you feel comfortable, share one verse from the passage that stood out to you and why. Read • Reflect • Realign

Monday Devotional
A little encouragement from my devotional time this morning. Today, I simply want to share from some of my own experiences, with the hope that something that has carried me might encourage you too. When I’ve been in seasons where I needed strength—when I was working so much, exhausted, and life circumstances felt heavy I leaned on Isaiah 40:31. It reminded me that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. When I’ve been confronted with temptation, when things were difficult, or even when I’ve found myself wrestling with sin and asking, “Lord, how do I get out of this? How do I overcome this?” I’ve leaned on 1 John 4:4: “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.” When I’ve needed encouragement about what’s ahead, something to remind me to keep moving forward even when I couldn’t see what was next, I’ve leaned on Jeremiah 29:11. And at night, when I revisit my day—or in those moments of despair when I’ve needed to remember who loves me I’ve gone back to John 3:16. I remind myself that God loved me enough to give His Son. And I remind myself that I was created in His image. These verses haven’t just been words I’ve read. They’ve become places I’ve returned to in different seasons of my life. I’m sharing this from a vulnerable space today because maybe you’re in one of those seasons right now. Maybe you need strength. Maybe you’re fighting temptation. Maybe you need hope for what’s ahead. Or maybe today you simply need to be reminded that you are loved by God. I hope one of these scriptures meets you exactly where you are today. What scripture have you leaned on in a difficult season? Share it below. Someone reading the comments may need it today too
