(Matthew 1:1—16) 1/ Jesus’s mission is, save people from sin, (Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.) 2/ Fullfillment of the old law. (override Moses law) as Paul taught ( Galatians 3:23 But before faith came (Jesus), we were kept under the law, (Moses law) shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. (follow the letter of the law, tobe seen of the outward man, but the inward is no faith) 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, (or faith 101 as to speak) that we might be justified by faith. (accepting Jesus’s atonement,) 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. (now on a higher law)
