I joined this community to learn more about somatics, nervous system regulation, and the connection between our bodies and our stories. What I didn’t expect was that the conversations here would inspire a song. So I wrote one. Somatic Pleasure was inspired by the ideas, insights, and discussions I’ve experienced inside this community, and by the work of James Humecky. As a songwriter and AI filmmaker, music is often how I process what I’m learning. This song is my creative interpretation of that journey.
