As some of you know, I've already designed and produced a physical set of Regulation Cards — something I created to support parents and children in moments of overwhelm. Well... I just built the app version. 😄 I have a higher cert in engineering, and I combined what I know about coding with AI tools to make it happen. It's been a journey but it's LIVE and I am absolutely buzzing. Calm in Your Pocket is a mobile-friendly web app bringing all of my card decks together in one place — including a specialist PDA support deck (12 cards for demand-avoidant profiles), calming mini-games, and favourites so you can save what works for your child. I built this because I wanted families to have something real in those moments — not a textbook, not a list of tips to read later, but something right there in their hands when everything kicks off and their brain goes blank. And this community played a part in getting me here. The support, the encouragement, just being around people who genuinely get it — thank you. 🖤 Sometimes you just have to back yourself and build the thing. 🙌

I am posting relatively often (I’d say 5 times a week) in my group and try my best to add valuable content, “easy” participation posts (comment a gif/ poll/ etc) But it feels stagnant. My Instagram view and followers have finally started to take off (I do have my skool link in bio) so it’s even more disheartening. I have been thinking of a couple of things to help my skool: - work on my offer and treat it as a lead magnet (but then people come for the content not the community) - Add the well performing videos from Instagram to here and see what happens - Make a totally different format (longer form YT) specifically to drive members and hopefully participants here Is it a normal slump, what am I doing wrong?
