THANK YOU for the Goose Boost! [UPDATE]
Last week I was gifted by Goose and the community with an hour of support about my Skool community offer and positioning copy. [Link to replay is here] The model I'm replicating is Jamie Heinrich'sย AI Filmmaking. Thumbnail attached. My core offer line was previously: "Buzztown: Where screenwriters stop waiting & start making their movies" Goose suggested "Buzztown" was adding significant friction. Which was a great call, so I removed it. And he also suggested 2 offer ideas with sharper outcomes: "make 5K/month making 1 minute movies" "advance your career making 1 minute movies" Those were very instructive for me. Soย I played around with all of this, updated the thumbnail, and the next thing I'll test is: "Hey Screenwriter - Get noticed by turning your script into a movie clip" I wanted to call out the avatar more directly. Plus, screenwriters have deep emotional connection to their scripts (they spend 100+ hours on those puppies) so "your script" may strike a nerve. And I think "get noticed" is a little more clear and primal than "advance your career." And here's the About Page copy: =================== GET YOUR STORY SEEN Most scripts die on laptops. But you can make a 1 minute movie from it and make things happen for your career. REAL EXAMPLES ๐ฌ Jono Matt (Brooks' colleague) created a concept trailer - got Channing Tatum attached to his project before the screenplay was even written. ๐ฌ Luke Barnett (Brock's colleague) posted a short film online - got 2 million views, and had dream managers and producers fighting over him. ๐ฌ Steve Pinder (Brooks' client) proved his storytelling ability in short-form work - got nominated for an Oscar. Talent shows - within a minute. WHO WE ARE Brooks Elms is a WGA writer with 45+ scripts written, 2 features directed, and 100+ writers coached 1:1.
