idk who is familiar with Jesse Itzler but he makes the Big A## Calendar and incorporates a Misogi Challenge into his yearly planning. What's a Misogi? its an annual personal goal to complete one extremely difficult, defining task that pushes your limits. When you look back at the year, you can define it and say i did this. Jesse usually does a marathon or something physically challenging, but I recently saw an interview of someone learning the piano as their misogi for the year and instantly felt I should do the same. One of my dad's favorite things in life was music and as I've gotten older I tend to be moved by really good piano. I am not any sort of musician so this will be challenging but my Misogi for 2026 is learning how to play the piano and putting on a show by the end of the year. Think I am going to start with a loog piano but if anyone has any recommendations please let me know!!
