Leaderboards are cool! Can I make them cooler?
Wassup y'all! I run a hobby community for writers and I'd like to make it a place for people to feel excited/engaged about practicing, showing their work, hyping each other up, etc. Stuff Skool's good at, basically.
To that end, I'm gonna be running some variety of challenges in the new year, kinda like the Blitz/Anti-Blitz here, and seeing those got me thinking - is there some way to use Skool's leaderboard function to track stuff other than just activity? Specifically, I have this vision of somehow being able to use it to do a 'who can write the most words in a month' thing for the speedsters.
So a question for those of y'all more familiar with Skool's inner workings than me - is something even remotely akin to that feasible?
It'd be dope if I could figure that out, but the more I think through the specifics of how it'd work, the more I reckon that it'd probably be waaaaaaaaay too hard to actually do right now, at least in a semi-regulated fashion. So this might be something I need to table for a ways down the road.
But! I aim to one day be the biggest writing group on Skool, so it's a thing Imma have to tackle at some point anyway, and may as well get some viewpoints now. So what's your guys' take, am I visualizing the impractical?
