I started on skool awhile ago, but started being serious on skool back in January.
I spent a lot of time getting people into my community, asking them questions to figure out what they wanted, and building genuine community and friendships.
Then, I started making some good money and wanted to keep chasing that success...
and someone told me that if I wanted the best community in the world, that was great, but if I wanted to make money then I had to do the things that made money.
So, i focused on "what made money"
and went into a long dry spell.
I realized that I had to go back to basics and do what I was doing that was ACTUALLY working - building COMMUNITY.
I started the Blitz with the intention of consistency and rebuilding community and since then I have:
- doubled my booked sales calls,
- moved up 600 points in discovery, and
- I just had 3 onboarding calls today alone, 2 of those are moving on to be sales calls because they are VERY interested.
I went against the typical advice.
I got them on onboarding calls and gave advice...
heck, I even gave loads of advice on our free coffee chat...
and then people posted their wins.
TLDR: Fuck what everyone else says about making money. Build a REAL community around something you LOVE, provide tons of value, and then watch people ask to work with you...
βOh, and the last Mastermind Call for the Star training tied all the pieces together for me and solidified that i'm back on the right path. Business gets messy when WE make it messy. Otherwise, it's pretty simple. We just have to be bold enough to ask the questions we think might be stupid, learn, and then share with others.β
