Honoring life♥️ and death🖤…. Masculine and Feminine 🩷
I guess I’ve always built alters even when I didn’t know I was building an alter.
As a kid I would build this intricate secret spaces with special objects, to commemorate an occasion but more usually a place that I found magical….lots of places in the forest…(I haven’t even thought about this for years actually)
This is a picture of a newly constructed alter. It started out as an alter to commemorate my youngest brother’s death in 2024.
Now it includes the ashes of my mother and my uncle and my grandmother and my other two brothers.
Plus, it has strong symbols from nature, including, deer Bones and shells and feathers, etc.
And it also gathers the symbol of the masculine and the feminine together…For a while, I had separate alters.
This year, especially is a year of pulling together, combining and integrating all the energies and celebrating life.
