From “Should I Even Do This?” to “Holy Sh*t Look What I've Built”
This Blitz lit a fire under me—and not just the “check the leaderboard one more time” kind (though yes, guilty of that too 🙋‍♀️).
The biggest win? I actually showed up.
Not just here, but inside my own community.
Before the Blitz, my $9/month Shopify Growth Collective was quietly simmering.
I opened it on Skool in August ‘24, let a few people in for free… and then kinda ghosted it. I was overhwlemed burnt out and just not sure what to even do with it to be honest...
In early May—just 60 days ago—I decided to actually start building it.
Sent a few emails. Talked about it in convos. Looked for ways to go deeper with community.
And then I found this wonderfully unhinged corner of the internet.
I joined Goosify looking for connection.
What I didn’t expect was a community full of chaos, memes, a leaderboard dopamine addiction, and actual camera-on humans I like.
The Blitz? It did exactly what it promised:
⚡ Lit a fire under my butt
⚡ Gave me the weirdest dopamine addiction to leaderboard points
⚡ Inspired me to finally take impulsive, imperfect action (which I normally overthink to death)
And I took that messy energy straight into my own group.
No plan. No prep.
Just a random late-night idea and a “fuck it, let’s try.”
I launched a 30 Fixes in 30 Days Shopify blitz in my own community.
One small task per day to clean up or optimize something in their Shopify store.
They earned points for taking action and posting screenshots.
Things like:
→ “Do you even have a favicon?”
→ “Update your About page—it still says ‘mom of a newborn’ and your kid is 6.”
→ “Fix that janky homepage section from 2020.”
→ “Add a real refund policy.”
→ “Check your abandoned cart emails. Are they awful? Cool, fix them.”
Tiny changes. Daily. That actually moved the needle. Just quick wins
And the results? My community LOVED it.
🚀 More sales
🚀 Higher conversions
🚀 Faster site speeds
🚀 They’re genuinely excited about their stores again
🚀 They’re saying it gave them clarity, confidence, and momentum
🚀 They’re asking when I’ll run it again—and offering to pay to join.. asking if I can make it evergreen in some way so we can share it with more Shopify store owners who need the same business changing help.
Even more importantly:
They realized it doesn’t take a full rebrand to grow or expensive agancy.
It just takes consistent action—piece by piece.... that they did on their own.
They now have a checklist, momentum, and a whole new mindset and confidence!
It’s blown their minds. And mine too.
But here’s where it gets crazy.
My group is small.
$9/month. 67 members.
Just 8 new people joined during the Blitz.
But the engagement?
Bananas.
Here’s what I’m celebrating (and still wrapping my head around):
🔥 Over 1,000 actions per day inside my community—multiple days in a row.
🔥 One day hit 3,000+ actions (with just 67 members). WHAT?!
🔥 dubbed me the Engagement Queen—60 days ago, my group was basically a ghost town.
🔥 Went from #1,225 to #220 in the Money category in just 30 days. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
🔥 Now show up on Page 1 when you search “Shopify” in Skool Discovery.
🔥 Passed $200/month in MRR (and 0% churn!)—a milestone I set back in May🥂 and now just about to hit $250 MRR --- → Not bad for a weekly gin & tonic + massages-on-the-beach fund drip. 🥂
All of this from clicking on a silly goose icon and going what the heck is this?… and it inspiring one messy, imperfect, slightly chaotic challenge.
Because I stopped overthinking. And just showed up.
And I never would’ve done it without this community.
The memes, the madness, the late-night leaderboard dopamine hits—
You’ve built something really special here.
So thank you. Truly.
From this Canadian girl in Thailand with a laptop, a big-ass dream, and a gin + tonic fund that now gets a $245/month drip.
🥂 Let’s keep going.
