Finding the Right Niche for My Skool Community
I would like to create a Skool community, but I am still trying to identify the right niche.
I speak several languages at a native or fluent level, especially Spanish and French. However, language learning feels like a very crowded space, unless the community has a very specific angle or audience. One idea would be French for children, since I am currently teaching French to my two young daughters, but I am not sure whether that would be sufficiently strong or differentiated.
I am also an Xpat long-time Xojo software developer, an AI user, a vibe coder, a SaaS builder, and a desktop software developer. My main areas of expertise are email marketing and personal finance, because I have created a bulk email application and two personal finance applications.
I am also an expat currently living in Belize, which gives me a different perspective on work, lifestyle, education, and online business. Living outside my home country has made me more aware of the challenges and opportunities that come with building an independent life abroad, especially as a software developer, entrepreneur, and father. This experience could also become part of the community angle, connecting with people interested in remote work, digital products, language learning, family life abroad, or in creating a sustainable business from anywhere.
One possible idea is to build a community around Email Marketing for MaxBulk Mailer users. That could work because I already have a 20-year customer base and could probably attract members much faster than starting from zero. However, my concern is that it could easily turn into just another boring support forum rather than a real learning community.
I am trying to find the best direction: something niche enough to stand out, useful enough to attract paying members, and interesting enough for me to keep developing over time.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
