✨ Welcome to Golden Hour Society ✨
Hi! I am a mom of 5 and am deeply attuned to my self-care and that of my family. My belief is simple, staying connected matters to create life long bonds and healthy core memories. I truly care about you and your family and wish for everyone to have the benefit of thriving (no longer just “surviving”) like I have with my family. I have dedicated 22 years of my life to Family Psychology and implementing real life strategies that are easy to do and yield amazing results and I’m so glad you’re here 🤍 Our community is for creating a more connected, peaceful, and joyful home—through simple, intentional daily rhythms and sharing our experiences. No perfection. Just what actually works in real life. 🌅 Let’s start simple: Our first Daily Anchor: Fill the Bucket 🪣 👉 2–3 times today, take a few minutes of intentional, screen-down connection for you and your child. - Morning - After school (or afternoon) - Before bed This is about stepping into their world. Even if you don’t fully understand it—show interest anyway, you may be surprised at your child/teens reaction: - An online game they’re playing - Something they’re watching (could be a question about current socks media trends) - A topic they care about Instead of “How was your day?” try one of these: - Did anything funny happen today? - Anything crazy or unexpected? - Anything cool or bad? - (My kids will often look up at me at the “anything cool or bad happen today” question) and I’ve been very surprised that this question often yields the most conversation—even though their version of “bad” isn’t entirely too crazy at all. Specific questions + real attention = kids open up more. 💛 Please share as I would love to hear the various responses and reply Comment below: - Who you connected with - What the moment looked like ✨Even the smallest moments count here✨
