Nothing profound to type today.

I find when I get into my feels about life,

When I fall into the woe is me, self centered-ness that just is my sinful selfish flesh, I always feel better when I get off a screen, into nature, into God’s creation

So tonight that was sitting outside watching my son get clobbered by the neighborhood boys in backyard football while I caught up on the phone with my sister

Sometimes I hear God whisper

Go do something creative

Lean into the gifts He has given

Sometimes

It’s not a cut and dry answer to a life altering obstacle or decision sometimes it’s just a nudge to

Have the phone conversation with a loved one

Serve others

Be still

And THAT is kind of the wisdom, the answers, the God taps and God’s voice that I’m choosing to listen and be mindful of today.
