Today's Promise John 13:15 NKJV [15] For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Today's Thought Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of someone living to please God. To follow His example doesn't necessarily mean to be a traveling preacher or do miracles; instead, it means to think His thoughts, show His attitudes, and live as He would live. This is an awesome goal, and since you are not perfect, it will be difficult. The key is not in your ability to be perfect but in allowing Jesus Christ to live His perfect life through you. Today's Plan How can you be more like Jesus today?

Today's Promise Hebrews 13:2 NKJV [2] Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. Today's Thought Angels are God's special messengers who sometimes on earth to bring God's justice, to carry out God's will, or to take care of us. Angels play a special role for God both on earth and in heaven. In fact, angels play a greater part in your life than you may realize. Make sure your actions would help rather than hinder the work of angels on earth. Today's Plan Knowing angels may be involved in your life, how will that affect the way you act today?

Today's Promise Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV [14] “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. [15] But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Today's Thought Being unwilling to forgive others shows that you have not understood or benefited from God's forgiveness, because forgiveness is motivated by unconditional love. When God forgives you, you are freed from guilt and restored to fellowship with Him. When you forgive someone who has wronged you, you are free from bitterness and resentment that can saturate your soul like toxic waste. When you have been forgiven by another, you are free from indebtedness to that person. Receiving God's forgiveness and forgiving others are at the core of what it means to be a Christian.
