Lisbon's new airport
It looks like they finally settled on Alcochete for the new Lisbon airport. It will be about 25 km east of the current airport on the other side of the Tejo. They are talking about building a lot new rail line to serve the new airport and include it on the proposed Lisbon-Madrid HSR corridor. Here is a map with where Google thinks it will be. It should be opened in about 10 years and will be paid for by the EU. Thoughts?
