After last week's discussion about people keeping passed family members in the home and changing their clothes ect... i I began wondering, it would be interesting to see how different cultures perceive spirits or if they discourage acknowledging spirits based on their religion.
Japanese definitely believe in spirits, Poland and other Slavic parts of Eastern Europe have buried people with sickles over their necks in fear of vampires rising from the grave. Other cultures have various reasons for spirits- disrespect, incorrect burial, death during childbirth, unfinished business.
Could any understanding of different cultural spiritual beliefs help us going into environments.
