Goat House Farm is an educational farm focused on helping new and growing goat owners raise healthy, productive herds. Inside this community you will find courses, herd management resources, and real-world guidance based on over a decade of raising dairy goats.
Melissa Hughes, founder of Goat House Farm is a university professor who holds a Master Sheep and Goat Certification through Florida A&M University and Langston University and serves as the Leon County 4-H Dairy Goat Project Leader. She also teaches hands-on goat care classes at the farm.
Our goal is simple: help goat owners feel more confident caring for their animals while building a supportive community of people learning and growing together.
