Hey everyone, Wanted to share a more personal update on where I’m heading with G2L—and, more importantly, where I’m heading with myself. If you’ve followed along, you know G2L was never meant to be a dev shop or agency. It started as a space to build in public, explore AI use cases, and learn together out loud. But somewhere along the way, I let my "helpful" instincts overtake my honest bandwidth. I started taking on more direct support—projects, advising, building systems—often quietly, and often without the margin to follow through well. And while my intentions were good, the reality was harder: I was offering more than I had to give. I was extending myself past my own limits—trying to support others while slowly eroding my ability to support myself, my family, and the future I’m actually trying to build. That stops here. Myself aside, I'm sure that the way that I've moved has hemorrhaged trust with those I was working alongside, who opened up dreams and projects big and small to me so that we could dig in together. To those of you who were working with me: I'm sorry. All of this has been hard, and I'm sure on you, too. My mindsets and actions have led to enough collateral damage, and it's time to change. As Anthony Robbins likes to hammer home (loudly, sweatily): businesses[/organizations/communities, etc] don’t grow past the psychology of their founder. And it turns out, G2L can’t grow into anything sustainable until I work on the patterns in me that have made it unsustainable. So this is a season of turning inward—not to hide, but to rebuild. To become someone worth following by actually working through the stuff I’ve sidestepped for too long. I’m doubling down on what works, what matters, and what serves my real life—not just the idealized one I’ve been projecting. That means: - No more direct services, delivery, or custom builds. - No more quietly overcommitting in the name of being “helpful.” - A sharper, simpler focus: me building for me, in public.
