DAY 1 – Breaking Free
Scripture: Isaiah 58:6
“Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke,
to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?”

Biblical Background:God defines the kind of fast He desires — one that loosens chains, frees the oppressed, and removes spiritual burdens. This fast is about transformation, not ritual.
Practical Meaning:Fasting is not about restriction; it’s about release. God uses fasting to bring freedom in areas where we have felt stuck or bound.
Going Beyond Tip:Ask God to reveal one internal chain He wants to break during this fast and commit to releasing it.
Daily Prayer:God, thank You that Your fast brings freedom. Break every chain that has limited my walk with You. As I fast, release me into greater spiritual liberty. Amen.
