Day 71/120: Give It Your Best, Then Be Proud of It
Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Hope you're doing great and staying healthy. Lately, I've been working on creating my own process for solving punctuation questions, especially punctuation and verb questions. Instead of just memorizing rules, I'm trying to build a consistent way of thinking through each problem. I've also been thinking a lot about the remaining 49 days until the August SAT. Right now, I'm studying around 1.5 to 2 hours a day, and honestly, I'm not sure that's enough to give myself the best shot at a 1600. Realistically, my goal is still at least a 1450, and I truly believe I can achieve that. But at the same time, I want to walk out of the testing center knowing I gave myself every possible opportunity to earn the highest score I was capable of. I don't want to get a 1530 and spend the next few months thinking, "I could've gotten a 1600 if I had just put in a little more effort." So I've made a promise to myself. On exam day, whatever score I earn, I'll be proud of it because it'll reflect the best I could do with the time I had. I'll know I gave it everything I reasonably could. At the end of the day, the SAT is important, but it isn't my whole life. There are so many other things that matter too, and I don't want to lose sight of that. For now, it's simple. Keep showing up. Keep improving. One day at a time. How are you all planning to use these final weeks before your test? Good luck with your prep, and I'll see you all soon. If you’re serious about improving your SAT score and want to stay consistent, join Mission 1400+ here Quick note: some of the links I share for Mission 1400+ are referral links. If you join through them, it helps support me a bit, but the price for you stays exactly the same. I only share what I genuinely find useful and what’s actually helping me improve.
