The truth about SAT prep...(getting a 1580)
I was talking to someone in the DMs (I lost the chat and I forget your name, my bad lol) and they told me this:
Their brother got a 1580 on the SAT.
Pretty cool.
So, how did he get there?
Well, these were his stats:
- Studied for the SAT since middle school
- Taking the hardest APs (Calc, Physics, etc.)
...and y'all trying to get there after studying for like 2 weeks (lol).
This isn't supposed to be discouragement.
Really, I'm just saying this:
Getting to CRAZY scores requires SERIOUS discipline.
I'm not saying you need to study for 3+ years like this guy did.
But, at the same time, nobody's getting to a 1500+ by doing 15 min of prep per day.
It just DOESN'T happen.
Lock in.
