I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make SAT prep feel less like a chore and more like a challenge you actually want to level up in. One thing that’s been helping me is treating each section like a “skill tree” instead of trying to master everything at once, I focus on unlocking one ability at a time.
For example:
- Reading: I’m working on “Evidence Hunter” slowing down and finding the exact line that supports the answer.
- Writing: I’m leveling up “Grammar Instinct” by practicing just transitions and sentence structure for a few days straight.
- Math: I’m grinding XP on “Pattern Recognition” noticing the types of traps that show up again and again.
It’s wild how much easier the test feels when you break it down into small, winnable quests instead of one giant boss fight.
Curious how everyone else here gamifies their study sessions. What “skills” are you leveling up right now?
