Practicing makes me feel dumb
Something that I've noticed about myself is that, whenever I get a practice problem wrong, it heavily demotivates me to keep going because I know I'm just going to get every succeeding question wrong, even if I don't. It's the little self-doubt in my brain from that ONE question that leads me to making so many more stupid mistakes, that it just intrinsically makes me look dumber than I am.
That self-doubt also passes onto other parameters like decision-making, which makes it harder to trust my answer options even when I know I'm right, which will lead me to getting it wrong, and repeating, or often times reinforcing the cycle.
I have to learn not to let getting things wrong bother me. I told myself that I probably shouldn't care about incorrect answers, but rather WHY I got them incorrect a long time ago. However, as a perfectionist, it does hurt to see a 4/5 or 9/10 on a Khan Academy practice quiz PURELY because I did something slightly wrong or just forgot to do it, or how to do it.
