Learning vocabulary words

If you are working to learn vocabulary words to be ready for words in context, i personally highly recommend OnePrep.xyz.

This is because all aniko does to prepare you is give you a word, and 4 choices for its meaning and expects you to memorize it.

OnePrep isnt like that at all. It starts you off with flash cards of 6 different words so that you can first learn their meaning, next it asks you to match the words to their meaning while the other words are their with their meaning, making sure that you can understand the definition they give you. Finally, in order to achieve “mastery” you have to create a sentence in which the word is used.

I believe that this way really deepens understanding of these words as they make you match the meaning while there are other words, making you identify the correct one to use, and it forces a deeper understanding by making you use it in a sentence, helping you see the meaning in a context that YOU create for it
