day 19
"a horrible chill goes down your spine..."
today i found out that i have uncovered a technique so efficient it almost feels illegal to use...
the technique? comparing the answers. it may sound underwhelming at first but oh boy has it helped me so much in math...
> very long explanation of my experiences starts here, scroll down to the very bottom if you want the tldr
take a look at the 4th image. i took 170 seconds on that question for a trigonometry question, which is a REALLY long time. i got somewhat resembling an answer but i didnt base my selected choice on the answer i solved for... i compared the answers to each other. B was the only option where it had 15 multiplied to the radical, so it couldn't have been B. C was the only option with 6 as the divisor, so it couldn't have been C. D was the only option where 95 was added to the non-integer portion of the answer. so i picked A...
the 5th image is non-linear functions... you can argue that you can just plug in the options and see which fits but that takes longer than 13 seconds. lets do the method again. B was the only option where it had plus as the mode of operation in the numerator, C had 18 as the divisor, and D had 20 as the number added to the non-integer portion of the answer. it's A again...
the 6th image is linear equations in two variables... again you could put the points into the equation and use the system of equations... but when A is the only negative answer, B is the only answer with 2 in the numerator, C is the only answer with 5, wouldn't D be the answer? (yes i took 151s on this cause i was still figuring it out and thinking to myself that no way this thing works)
the 7th image is linear equations in two variables (again)... same technique. B is the only option where the y coordinate is divided by 2, C is the only option where 2r + 1 appears in the y coordinate, and D is the only option where 2r + 1 isnt 2r + 1... so A
i dont know how to describe this weird phenomenon. it may be a stroke of luck or i have a stroke, but if it works it works... the only caveat to this is that it doesnt work with simple single-integer choices... sorry to inform you guys but you do have to solve trigonometry normally :c
tl;dr
i (someone who got tired of solving math problems) found a way to get right answers for complicated looking choices which may either be luck or a very streamlined educated guess technique that i havent heard of...
but with great power, comes great downside (thats not how the famous saying goes) since it doesnt work for the simple looking options (whole numbers only)
someone fact check this method cause the more i do it the more im going to doubt this process
oh and also im almost 1500 after almost 3 weeks of aniko? yeah!! i love this thing so much its amazing how fast you can learn
