Some things just take time...
Ever had that feeling that everything is heading in the right direction but then something slips?
Perhaps you've setup coffee dates and then the prospect ghosts you..
Or you've been building a bot and something isn't quite working right..
In my book I wrote about Speed as a chain because we want everything to happen immediately
And I was reminded of this yesterday
4 weeks ago I was approached by an education company who asked me to teach a course on Generative AI at their campus
Then I heard nothing until yesterday when they messaged saying they had some students register and could I start today (the original plan when we spoke 4 weeks ago was to start yesterday)
I thought that the opportunity had slipped by because I hadn't heard anything
But some things don't work at the speed we want them to
So if you're feeling like you're not making any progress just keep in mind - some things go slower than others, but if we stop, we definitely won't succeed and build the life we want.
