This community is for software professionals interested in becoming great at coding. Initially, we will be running two courses side by side:
- Introduction to programming in Go.
- NotSkool - a replica of the Skool platform built without using any frontend or backend frameworks. This will give us plenty of opportunity to jump into fundamentals such as database design, auth, Web API's, networking, cloud, and any other topics you want to learn more about.
FAQ:
- Why should I care about fundamentals? I just want to build things.
Learning fundamentals provides developers with the fastest increases in competency. That being said, we will be building lot's of things.
- I’ve never programmed before, can I join up?
Yes! I will be doing introduction courses.
- Why did you create this community?
Many developers are being taught in 6 week bootcamps or crash courses. I wanted to create a place for aspiring developers who aren't interested in shortcuts.
