you don't land $5K/month clients, you earn them (here's how)
On the first video for a client, you won't be your best (no matter how hard you try) But $5K editors learned to compound their edits: 📈 Quality goes up 📉 Turnaround time goes down ✅ With every single video How do they do it? By not starting from scratch every time I call this system a Base Folder 📁 → It's a home for every asset that works for this specific client Here's how I have it set up... On my editing drive, I have a [Client Name] folder, that has two things: 1️⃣ Video-specific folders [Client Name] > [01_Video Title] [Client Name] > [02_Video Title] ...and so on 2️⃣ A Base Folder – where the magic happens [Client Name] > Base → SFX → PNGs → Music → B-rolls (labelled) → Memes → MOGRTs → Overlays → Backgrounds → Client story archive EVERY reusable asset that fits this client goes here (pic 1) Last Thursday, we've built a bunch of Base Folders on our Weekly Masterclass inside the paid FTE community (pic 2) P.S. If you're curious to learn more about the paid program, and how we scale to $5K/month on 4 hours of editing a day – comment BASE down below, and I'll reach out 📩

Why deleting plugins lands you great clients
I spoke to @Dmitry Khristodulo about his experience at Full-Time Editor over the past 9 months He used to edit until 1 AM, Getting 30-40 revisions per video, But the clients still weren't happy... He didn't even wanna share his work because he was embarrassed by it. And at the time, he thought the solution was MORE: Add more effects. Download more plugins. Spend two more hours on fancy 3D scenes. But the videos didn't work. Now Dmitry is proud of his work and client relationships feel effortless. His biggest piece of advice? To delete all plugins. He said it jokingly, but it actually resonated with me heavily. Nowadays, I don't even use Deep Glow. You waste hours figuring out how to pirate plugins... Then slow down your project file by using sapphire, BCC, and universe all together... All because you hope that cool-looking = nice-to-watch... But it's just not the case. Watch the full interview below to see how Dmitry went from hating the editing process to: - loving his clients - editing better videos in less time - and moving out from his home country thanks to editing ⬇️

I got the bag
OMG OMG OMG I got the bag Artem is the GOAT guys, he is the fucking GOAT. I literally remember that my most profitable month of editing was $1300, and I made it from editing 3 videos —1 of them was 1 hour, the 2nd was 45 minutes, and the 3rd was 40 minutes. I just made $1300 editing a 12-minute video. This is absolutely fucking crazy, For the new guys: just listen to Artem guys, he will take you to the moon. I’ll name my son after this guy. الحمدالله
