This community exists to support, encourage, and grow together as we build confidence in bookkeeping. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, you belong here.
💬 How We Interact
We welcome different perspectives and experiences. If someone shares a process that’s different from how you learned it:
- Feel free to say, “This is how I learned it,” or
- Share a helpful shortcut or alternative approach
Kindness and curiosity always come first.
🤝 Community Over Authority
This is a peer-support community, not a lecture hall.
- Share what’s worked for you from your own experience
- Avoid presenting information as the only correct way
If you have advanced or authoritative guidance you think would benefit the entire group, feel free to message the founder or a moderator — we may invite you to share it more broadly.
📘 A Note on Bookkeeping Practices
Bookkeeping can look different depending on the business, industry, or goals.
- Not all bookkeeping follows GAAP
- GAAP standards can vary or change
- Different approaches don’t automatically mean something is “wrong”
Respectful discussion is always encouraged.
