Introducing the Fireground360 Daily Drill Deck
Company officers and acting officers frequently know their crews need training but do not always have time to build a complete drill from scratch. The Fireground360 Daily Drill Deck was created to solve that problem. Inside the Classroom, you will find ready-to-run: - 15-minute tailboard drills - 30-minute company drills - 1-2 hour company evolutions - NFPA 1410-aligned evolutions - Command and size-up exercises - Officer development scenarios - EMS and rescue drills - Debrief questions - Suggested training documentation language Start by opening the Classroom tab and selecting Fireground360 Daily Drill Deck After running a drill, post what worked, what challenged the crew, and what you would change in the Training After Actions category. Open. Train. Debrief. Improve.

New Course Added: Difficult Conversations
I just added a short course inside the classroom: Difficult Conversations: Correcting Behavior Early. This course focuses on how to address small issues before they become bigger culture problems. It covers early correction, overcoming awkwardness, starting the conversation, correcting without embarrassing people, follow-up, documentation, and scenario practice. Take a look when you get a chance and drop a comment with one leadership conversation you think officers tend to avoid.

Welcome to From Boots to Brass
This community was built for firefighters who want to grow into the next level of leadership, whether that means becoming a better senior firefighter, preparing for promotion, stepping into the company officer role, or continuing to develop as a leader in the firehouse. The goal here is simple: create a place where we can talk through real leadership issues, firehouse challenges, officer development, communication, accountability, promotion preparation, and the transition from being one of the crew to leading the crew. This is not about pretending to have all the answers. It is about getting better together. To kick things off, drop a comment and introduce yourself: 1. Where are you in your fire service career right now? 2. What leadership challenge are you trying to get better at? 3. Are you preparing for promotion, already an officer, or just trying to grow? Glad you're here. Let's build something valuable.
