From broke to $100K+ on Upwork π
In 2021, I was working in a call centre for 25K a month. I was not happy, but I had no mentors or guidance. All I had was a desire to change my life.
I quit that job and joined an internship for 10K, even though I had to pay my university fees and living expenses by myself. In just 2 months, I was promoted to 30K. I worked there for 1.5 years and learned as much as I could.
In 2023, I started freelancing on a low-spec PC. Within 4 months of working hard, I built my dream setup. Then I started on Upwork. At first, it was tough. More than 50 rejected proposals, wasted connects, no replies, and I almost lost all my savings. But after my first client, everything started to change.
In 2024, I built a team of 7 people and opened my own office. That same year, I hit my first 100K milestone on Upwork.
In 2025, I married the love of my life β€. It was a reminder that success is not only about money but also about love and balance in life. I also started building my personal brand, grew my team to 15 people both onsite and remote, and I am still learning, growing, and chasing new goals every day.
This is just the start π
