🎶 Release of My Music Album: Leyan - We Are The Lights
Probably nobody knows that I was a professional musician (bass player) in a band in Berlin many years ago. Of course we are a community of SaaS founders and coders, not musicians, but being an artist has a lot in common with business and nowadays with digital creators and products ;)
I released an album many years ago, and although we disbanded the group a decade ago, on December 6th, 2024, we released a new album featuring never-before-heard songs.

Spotify has a free version, so you can listen to it for free :)
From a business perspective, this is also a very interesting topic. Spotify and similar platforms pay artists per stream, it's $4 per 1000 streams on Spotify, $5 on Apple Music and $12 on Tidal. Of course you need 1 million streams to make $4-5k, but 100k fans and each one listening to a full album once and that's it. We don't have that many fans because we haven't played for 10 years and don't do any marketing, but I will try to create an AI video clip with my latest SaaS and maybe increase the number of streams ;)
