I came to skiing late and never got past red runs.Since having a new hip 2 years ago, I discovered last Winter that reduced mobility in that hip made me unable to snow plough on that side. I thought that I may be able to resolve it by exercise but have been advised that this could dislocate my hip.
I used to run mountain marathons so skiing uphill seems a good way to stay out in the snow and I understand that this is becoming more popular.
Is Tignes a suitable resort for beginners, with the possibility of getting a lift down or easy slopes
