The biggest tax u pay is the time u waste on ur phone
I had this realization a couple of days ago, if every entrepreneur could completely cut out their screen time how much more money would they be making?
Imagine we have this one entrepreneur he’s making $7k a month, and he wastes like 2-3 hours a day on his phone, that’s like 20% of his waking hours. But that’s not all, his attention span just got even worse, his motivation for work just dropped, PLUS that screen time was probably just him procrastinating on the thing he should have been doing.
Here are some things I can list of the top of my head that short form content does to you:
- F cks up ur dopamine which makes u less motivated to do ur work
- Makes u irritated around other people (I only really realized this after quitting)
- U obviously waste a lot of time
- When u do scroll it’s just because ur avoiding something else, which then makes u work on easier tasks instead of the hard ones
- Ur basically scrolling through emotions when u watch short form, cus viral shorts induce emotions
- Brain fog
- Ur getting more decision fatigue
- U compare urself wayyyy too much with other people
- And probably a thousand other things :)
- And all these things butterfly effects into eachother…
My point is the $7k a month entrepreneur could probably be making like 50% more money if he was able to cut all this BS out of his life.
Yeah anyway bro, I quit 5 months ago and life has never been better, no random YT videos, no IG, tiktok, short form content, TV-shows, Movies none of that.
Because I used the onion method which is a method I came up with myself, and it’s about peeling back the layers :D
