Hello community -
I wanted to open up a discussion about something that has recently become very clear in my own life thnaks to 's helpful inputs .. and that I know impacts many of us with ADHD: Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD). I recently had an "aha!" moment and realized that many of my past experiences and reactions, especially in my entrepreneurial journey, can be attributed to RSD. This discovery has been both clarifying and a bit overwhelming, as I've started to connect the dots on how it influences everything from pitching ideas, dealing with clients, even just receiving constructive criticism from team and lets not forget my personal life. The fear of perceived failure or disapproval is paralyzing.
I'm genuinely curious to hear how others here navigate this. Entrepreneurship is a rollercoaster of highs and lows, and rejection is an almost daily occurrence. How do you manage the intense emotional fallout that RSD can bring, especially when you need to stay resilient and keep moving forward?
To make this even more engaging and get a quick pulse check, I've also created a poll. Please share your primary challenge related to RSD in your entrepreneurial life:
