Consistency beats talent
Good morning everyone! This is your daily reminder that there are certain things in life you can't control, but being consistent is the one thing that you CAN control.
There's no reason you should focus on the things you can't control, because some people can just naturally learn faster. Instead, what you should focus on is the amount of input you do.
By putting in more time and effort, you increase the amount of input. Being good at juggling is just the result of the effort you continue to put in. Success is the output and you cannot directly control the output. You can ONLY change the inputs.
It's the start of the new year, and everyone feels a little bit of motivation right now. But I want you to know that motivation fades; what doesn't fade are the habits that you instill during the time of motivation. It's not that motivation isn't useful; that is just simply wrong.
It's just that most people view motivation in the wrong light. They view motivation as the reason why they're doing something, but no, motivation is what should drive you to create habits, and the habits will carry you through the periods of less motivation.
Finish the week strong! Build those positive habits. Peace 🫡
