I recently enlisted the guidance of a metabolic health focused coach who EMPOWERS clients that struggle to reach their desired body composition after diet, exercise and traditional approaches fail again and again. During my next set of blood draws, I would appreciate your office request from your lab, the following values that are key indicators of metabolic wellbeing. ๐Ÿ”ฒDHEA sulfate test ๐Ÿ”ฒSerum Cortisol ๐Ÿ”ฒVitamin D ๐Ÿ”ฒMagnesium ๐Ÿ”ฒCalcium ๐Ÿ”ฒZinc ๐Ÿ”ฒIron ๐Ÿ”ฒFasted Glucose and/or Hemoglobin A1c (โ€œHbA1cโ€ or just โ€œA1cโ€) ๐Ÿ”ฒHDL (good) and LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides ๐Ÿ”ฒC-reactive protein (CRP) - inflammatory markers ๐Ÿ”ฒTSH test for Free T3 & T4 hormones, thyroid antibodies including TPO (thyroid procitis) and anti-thyroid anti-globulin bodies, ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) Based on the lab values, my coach and I will be more informed to adjust my meal plan, nutrition and hormone balancing to help me reach my health and fitness goals and to achieve optimal metabolic health. I realize that some of these test are not the standard for your office.
