This was me in June 2023. (Blue shirt)
From the outside, life looked pretty good. We had just started our solar business. I was showing up for work and taking care of responsibilities.
What most people didn't know was that I drank alone almost every day just to feel normal. I wasn't celebrating—I was escaping.
This is me today. (this week actually/family pic)
I'm not perfect, but I'm two years alcohol-free and far more present with my wife, my family, and my life.
Quitting wasn't just about removing alcohol. I had to repair my body, learn why I was craving it, and stay connected with people who understood what I was going through.
That combination changed everything. 4th of July I was drinking a Kava drink. lol.
If you're just getting started—or you're wondering if life can actually get better without alcohol—I hope this community gives you hope.
You're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out by yourself.
I'd love to hear where you are in your journey.
