I’m not just talking about the walls and the roof over your head.
I’m talking about living in alignment with your values, your dreams, and your pure belief systems below the noise and before the outside influences.
It can be exhausting if we venture too far from “home”…chasing and getting lost!
I’ve found myself “lost” many times before. It just doesn’t feel right. It feels fake at times.
What “home” feels like it should be to me:
“Home” is when someone can speak and act from the center of themselves — not the curated version, not the defensive version, not the performative version — but the honest one.
It’s when the noise falls away and what remains is intention, curiosity, and truth.
Home feels like to me:
- Clarity instead of confusion
- Purpose instead of pressure
- Authenticity instead of performance
- Connection instead of comparison
- Stillness instead of scrambling
It’s the space where people stop trying to be impressive and start trying to be aligned.
Has anyone felt lost/ that they’ve strayed a little too far from “home”?
Can anyone identify? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 🙏✨
With gratitude,
~Gerard
