Hello fellow 1st year teachers! My name is Sonja Robinson and I’m here to walk you through your 1st year of teaching. I have been teaching 1st grade since 2012. I have my Bachelor’s from Chicago State University and I currently attend National Louis University for my Master’s in Elementary Education. I have been recognized as Distinguished Teacher in 2017, 2024, and 2025. I pride myself in my strengths as a teacher: classroom management, parent engagement, and teaching curriculum with fidelity. Allow me to walk you through your 1st year with guidance and care! I’m excited to hear from you💜
