Welcome to Fire of Nasimi — for everyone drawn to the great 14th-century poet Imadaddin Nasimi: his verses, his life, his world.
Nasimi wrote in Persian, Azerbaijani Turkish, and Arabic. His poetry carries one of the boldest spiritual visions in Islamic literature — the divine speaks through letters, and the human face is its clearest page. He paid for that vision with his life. Six centuries on, his poems are still read, sung, and argued over. That's what we're here for.
You'll find a daily poem with commentary (Persian original + English translation, always), Nasimi University classroom courses starting from the very basics, and discussion of his era, his contemporaries, and the philosophy and faith that shaped him.
